In the evening, choose between the edgy and cool Northern Quarter or for a little bit of glitz and glam, you can’t go wrong in Spinningfields. HOW TO GET TO MANCHESTER

Ideally located in the north west, Manchester is easy to get to – wherever you’re based. It’s also home to a large airport, meaning international friends won’t have any excuses! By train, Manchester is around two hours from London Euston. And once you’re here, it’s super easy to see everything by foot. But if you’ve packed your killer heels, there’s plenty of taxis around and a fantastic tram link.
